Overview
Planet Earth
3.d planet from a common star in a galaxy of app. 200-400.000.000.000 stars. This galaxy, “The Milky Way”, is one of 30-40 galaxies in a local cluster. This Cluster is again a local cluster in a bigger cluster of clusters….etc for some time…..and totally mindboggling how big the Universe is.
Makes man infinitely small.
Life
We do not yet know of life on any other planets. But chances are that life is abundant. Even if just a very small thousindth of one percentage of all planets in the life hospitable zone around a star hosts life, then there is still millions or trillions of life-sprawling planets.
Life on this planet is billions of years old. All life – all animals (humans are animals – we belong to the ape-tree, in case you didn’t know) share common ancestry, and so we are all seedlings from the same source.
Humans
A species of ape. Still very violent and out of control.
Humanity
Is a project in the making.
Status Quo
We are in the midst of a violent birth of a new kind of species. We are animals, but some people are not violent anymore, and are as such just animals in physical appearance, but not in mind.
